About Planet Bake
Planet Bake was founded with the express purpose of making desserts far healthier and more lifestyle conscious without sacrificing taste, texture, and quality. We hope to play a role in helping to counteract alarming trends in diabetes rates, obesity, and other chronic health issues with healthy products that are sugar-free, plant based, gluten free, and environmentally friendly.
Planet Bake dessert products are made using high quality natural ingredients, and are egg-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, organic, keto-friendly, paleo-friendly, and non-GMO. We do not use artificial sweeteners like aspartame, or sugar alcohols, or sweeteners that leave a bitter aftertaste such as stevia, or monk fruit. We also avoid all gums, artificial fillers, binders, colors and flavors in our products.

Planet Bake started during the pandemic in 2020. When eating sugary sweet snacks and unhealthy foods was no longer an option for founder Kathrin. Fitness studios and building gym's have closed all over the city in New York, while the world was on a hold. Founder Kathrin needed to reinvent sweet desserts and developed better foods that actually support our health. Eating unhealthy was in the past; Kathrin's journey started by eating vegan, healthy and low-carb.
Kathrin: During the pandemic I had the time to explore the art of baking in my own kitchen. To be honest, I was never much of a baker before - I had to learn everything from scratch. Once I understood the science of baking I did my research on health beneficial ingredients and used them in desserts and other sweet snacks. That's how the "health food" donut of Planet Bake was born.
